The Launceston Food Scene will be somewhat richer with choice when Kleiner Baum, (German for ‘Little Tree’) opens its doors towards the end of March.
Peter Goldnund has done his homework and recognised a missing niche in Launceston’s restaurant landscape.
Klein Baum will bring a Middle European flavour to the plate (excuse the pun). Generous serves & homestyle cooking will be featured hailing from the likes of Germany, Hungary, Poland, Spain, France & Russia.
Peter has a hugely experienced & motivated team on board, with a firm focus on exceptional service and professionalism.
He will be aiming to use as much local & seasonal produce as possible, the dishes featuring rich sauces and robust flavours like rabbit & venison with gluten free options.
Kleiner Baum will be fully licensed offering both local & imported wines & beer.
