Mother’s Day is held on the 2nd Sunday in the month of May.
Through past experiences, be sure to book a venue if you’re planning to eat out in a Launceston Restaurant or anywhere in Northern Tasmania for that matter.
In previous years we have driven around the city & then into the outlying towns and become thoroughly frustrated to find nearly all places were booked out. It really did spoil those days but since then, I’ve ensured I’ve made a booking. What should be a Happy Day to celebrate as a Mother or Grandmother, certainly sours when you have to settle for somewhere that may not be really your ‘cup of tea’.
So, without further ado, here are the places that are either offering special menus for the day, or are open.
CATARACT ON PATERSON
Open for both lunch & dinner, Cataract on Paterson is a great venue for families. An extensive menu will appeal to all tastes and it’s an absolute necessity to book here before it’s too late.
