How do I get there
By Car:
Barnbougle Tasmania is approximately one hour from Launceston and 90 minutes from Launceston Airport. The easiest route from Launceston is via George Town.
- stay on the highway from the airport or Hobart all the way through the centre of Launceston
- stay on the A8 for 40 minutes until you see a right turn signposted to Bridport onto the B82 (if you reach the Bell Bay traffic island you have gone too far)
- the B82 will take you all the way to the Bridport junction, turn left and then follow the sign posted right turn to Barnbougle Dunes
If you are arriving on the Spirit of Tasmania, it takes 1 hour to travel from Devonport to Launceston on Highway 1.
By Bus:
Bus Tickets are available for purchase via the event ticketing site. See information above.
By Plane/Chopper:
If you are looking for a quick, easy and glamorous way to get to Barmbougle, consider a charter flight or chopper from Melbourne or Hobart. Barnbougle has an airstrip onsite, so aircraft can land at the course and a bus will transfer you the 5 minute drive to the polo field. For more inofrmation we recommend Vortex Air or Unique Charters.
What can/can’t I bring to the event
