Tio Rico is a small café & takeaway specialising in Mexican – South American inspired food. You’ll find here probably Tasmania’s biggest range of Burritos, Nachos, Quesadillas, Tacos, Empanadas, Enchilladas, Paellas, Chilli Con Carne, wraps, sandwiches, sweets and drinks for breakfast, morning tea or lunch.

“We cater to a variety of tastes, with vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options available every day. Our hand-made empanadas are a specialty, with the corn maize being imported into Australia from Colombia. There are only a handful of places in this country where this kind of empanada is prepared.”
