Providence Vineyards is located in the picturesque Lilydale area. It’s the oldest vineyard in Tasmania!
New Owner & Viticulturist Rusty Cook, brings a quarter of a century of winemaking experience to Providence. He has previously worked in Tasmania for Josef Chromy, Graham Wiltshire and Michael Beamish.
“We produce premium quality pinot noir, chardonnay, rosé & riesling wines and sell a broad range of other Tasmanian wines, focusing on vintage medal winning wines.”
Each private wine tasting begins with a historic overview of the vineyard followed by tastings of a selection of the museum wines.
Providence Vineyards is ~20 minutes to the north-east of Launceston under the majestic Mount Arthur. The vineyards and winery and tastings are on Lalla Road. If you travel 2 kms from the village of Lilydale to 236 Lalla Road, Lalla, Tasmania, Australia you will see the entrance.
