Went for an evening meal. Full house, so relegated to near entry rather than front River view. Food was excellent on time and with very nice table service.

We arrived without a booking but were able to get a fabulous Windows seated overlooking the grounds.
Our meals, the chicken burger & lamb pita were tasty and filling.
The staff were friendly and efficient.
Well worth the visit.

Stopped in for a wine and some lunch, what an absolute pleasure it was! The young man that served us was absolutely the most polite bloke we’ve met. He deserves a raise. Great food & service.

Another wonderful find on our Tamar valley wine trail. We had a lovely dinner at this quaint little restaurant. Every single dish was of a fine dining restaurant standard with every element in the dish perfectly paired, tasted splendid, cooking style and plating that is as of great fine restaurants. Great work team for a small bistro style restaurant and impeccable. Service by the staff was also another standout, warm service, courteous and professional.

Lovely, atmospheric pub with really tasty, traditional food. Upstairs dining particularly good with the warm fire and classic decor. Great music! Love it, highly recommend!

Dinner at The Cock and Bull on Wednesday evening. They fitted in a reasonably large group of us ( 9 adults and 2 children) Meals were spot on and service was fast and friendly. I had the Vegetarian Filo Parcel with veg which was light and flaky and very tasty. No photos as we were all very hungry.
