Slamduggery and Kingsway Bar  – present the third installment! Join Slamduggery at the Kingsway Bar this August, as we invite musicians, poets and stand-up comedians to share not only their artwork, but also the stories behind/connected to/caused by these creations. This event aims to share the fun, the sad, the important and the downright ridiculous. Most importantly, it aims to reveal that whether our art be a passion, profession or past-time, we’ve all got a story to tell.  Acts this month include:Tom Fowkes ,The Protagonists, Isla Ka, Cordelia Attenborough, Ebony Arwen, Yvonne Gluyas, Daniel Walker Clara Murray.

This classic tale, in which a Kansas farm girl travels over the rainbow to discover the magical power of home, has been entertaining audiences for generations. Songs including Over the Rainbow, Munchkinland, Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead, If I Only Had A Brain/A Heart/The Nerve, We’re off to See the Wizard, The Jitterbug and The Merry Old Land Of Oz will bring a smile to everyone’s face!  TICKETS

Women’s 7s is one of the World’s fastest-growing team sports, increasing from 200,000 to 1.7m participants in the last 3 years, including a 33% increase in Australia in 2016. The extraordinary growth of Sevens has led to its inclusion in the Commonwealth Games (including Gold Coast 2018) and the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.  Unlike traditional rugby, Rugby 7s involves 7 players on each team playing 7 minute halves.
